Hi,

Birds of The Cleveland Region, 4th ed. shows Wood Thrush as common until
late September. However after early August they become far less evident.
So it is fun to hear one this morning doing its multiple drip call, and
then a young bird trying out its song for the first time, here in my yard
on Gildersleeve Mountain.

I had 3 probable nests in my yard this year but am unable to discern if
these birds we from that set.

Haans
