Late Afternoon - Did not see the Avocet today but highlight was Black-crowned Night Heron with young (see below)

South-side of Wright Road where the water levels are near perfect:

Lesser Yellowlegs, 8 in a tight standing group
Pectoral SP, Many in a loose spread out group
Semipalmated SP, 12+
Vultures galore (no doubt because of the beached carp with lower levels) and Many GB Herons

At the Pickponds Information Area looking N on the same body of water:
Green Heron fly-out (it was a good sneeze :)
Spotted SP 2, one just feet away
Purple Martins, Tree Swallows, Barn Swallows
Coopers Hawk close flyby
Red tailed Hawk close flyby
Northern water snake just feet away in water
Copious number of dragonflies and Monarch Butterflies (just feet away :)

The Black-crowned Night Heron with young was seen at the 1st entrance parking lot of the Duck pound picnic area looking S. in front of trail head sign and trashcan They were seen in the right most tree of dead row of trees in water. You could take the trail and get a really close view I reckon if they are still there.

Wood Duck picnic area also had 20 plus Great Egrets and GB herons, Green Heron, and indigo buntings etc

Across road an Osprey was standing in nest. All these birds in 30mins!
