I had a chance to visit this ODNR preserve in southern Delaware County, then later make a few stops at nearby Alum Lake.  The snow was deep - 6-8 inches at both spots - and the Lake was totally frozen over.  There were a few birds of note, besides the expected chickadees, titmice, and cardinals:

Great Horned Owl - 1 was calling several times during the early morning at Seymour Woods, suggesting that the sporadic sightings there might be a territorial bird.

Woodpeckers - 2 Hairies at Seymour, and another 1 at the Alum Lake campground, further their good #s and broad distribution this winter.  3-4 Flickers toughing it out around the Alum Lake campground lead me to feel that they must be using some tree fruits or poison ivy berries as a hardship food while the ground is covered.

Robins - surprisingly, there were several of them at most stops I made; hopefully, we'll not see any starving ones this year.....yet.

Mockingbird - a single bird was vigorously defending a row of berry bushes along Winter Rd (west of US 23) from Starlings and Cardinals.

Yellow-rumed Warblers - 6-7 of them hanging around the Alum Lake campground goes to show how tough they are (as well as their fondness for poison ivy berries).
