Made a stop at the Mingo Sportmans club in Jefferson county Sunday and without getting out my car herd and saw two dozen Henslow's. There were just as many Grasshopper Sparrows and Bobolinks.
The Sportmans club is a large area of reclaimed stripe mines. The gravel road is wide with a few potholes and little or no traffic.
In the nearby Fernwood state forest were Cerulean , Kentucky and hooded Warblers.
