Wow! One of those great days! Again, thanks to the homeowners for opening
the yard for the Black-chinned today. And what looks! It cooperated nicely
by perching in a close tree when not actively feeding. Thanks to the fellow birder
who pointed that out to Andrew and me!
I have seen many Snowy Owls in my birding life. The one at Alum spillway
is one of my favorites now. Such nice looks in my scope! We had one Eared
Grebe up top from the dam. Close! Hopefully my pic is half way decent.
Shovelers, Hooded Mergs, Gadwall at Pickerington Ponds - Ellis Pond.
Andrew was showing me spots. Hooded Merg - another Ohio bird!
Good birding all. And have a nice, peaceful, birdy holiday!
