I had a couple of dozen Wilson's Snipe today at Killdeer Plains across from
pond 27 on the Marion county side of the road... within feet of me...they
seemed to care more about eating than the traffic or photographer sitting
in his car (me) taking pictures of them. 😁
There are still lots of ducks at pond 27 as well.
If you still need Common Mergansers, there were around 2-4 pair of them at
Big Island in the middle pond on LaRue Prospect.
Happy birding and God bless,
Steve J.
