Hello all,

I had some good birds while atlasing today in Auglaize, Van Wert, Putnam, and Allen Counties.  In Auglaize County, Along Deep Cut Road between Mercer-Van Wert County Line rd, and Gaberdial Rd. was a field full of Henslows Sparrows, which are pretty rare out here in the wild wild western corn barrens.  A few minutes later, In Allen County Along Kill Rd about a half a mile north of West Union rd, the Fort Jennings Ditch crosses the rd and at that spot was a grassy area with Sedge Wrens and Dickcissels.  About a half hour later, I had a Northern Harrier fly across the rd a little north of there. Also, This weekend I visited Kendrick Woods Metropark along Defiance Trail rd and walked a short way into the trail(before the bugs chased me out) and had Cerulean Warbler and Summer Tanager right at the first creek crossing(maybe 25 yards into the trail).  This is in Allen County.  All those are pretty good birds out here, so I thought I'd pass them along.
