I am in the process of adding a new feature, Ohio Birding Drives, to the Ohio eBird Hotspot web site: http://ohioebirdhotspots.wikispaces.com/Ohio+Birding+Drives Ohio Birding Drives are routes for birding trips which can be accomplished in *one day*, stopping to walk and bird at various eBird hotspots. For each birding drive, a Google map is provided with the route and suggested stops at eBird hotspots. You may save the link to the Google map on your smart phone or tablet, or print a copy on paper to take with you. Links are provided with more information about each eBird hotspot. Follow those links for more information about birding each location. I would appreciate feedback on this new feature -- suggestions of birding drives in counties I have not visited and any additions or changes you might suggest in any of the available drives. So far there are birding drives in Adams, Ashland, Lawrence, Medina, and Wayne counties. I will post links to new birding drives as they are developed.
