I didn't have many migrants at Ellis. I am sure a late start contributed to that.
Gnatcatcher, Chesnut-sided Warbler. And Yellow bellied Flycatcher. New
one for my big year. I took the trail into the woods there. And scanned from
the clearing. YB likes the forest interior. Success! 2 RH Woodpeckers there
also.
The shorebird field could still use some more water. 1 Bairds is always nice.
Someday I will manage a pic of it. No Golden-plover this morning.
Three strikes on this Jaeger. A dusk watch is next on Monday if the bird is reported
Sunday. Well, I can't get them all!
Nature notes - those east fork bugs are midgons. Lots of bird food!
