No success with the reported Wilson's Phalaropes. I may try again Tues.
That place can change every hour! In fact, as I was done walking the
trail the other way - through the swamp area - I scanned again the flooded
field. A flock of mostly Greater Yellowlegs with some Lesser was flying in.
No Phalaropes..... In fact, not many shorebirds.
I did pick up my foy hooded warbler. Singing and briefly
seen in a dense woods area. Breeding there? Or just a migrant?
Good birding all. Still lots of pics to enter into inat!
