Since Bill Whan sent notice that not all messages were getting through to
the list yesterday, I'm re-sending this. My apologies if this is a
repeat.... Judy

Subject: News Articles re: Snowy Owls being killed
To: Ohio Birds <[log in to unmask]>

I just read that 3 Snowy Owls were killed at JFK Airport in New York on
Saturday as a preventative measure against bird strikes and airplanes. (Article
here<http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/snowy-owls-added-port-authority-kill-list-article-1.1541823>)
Boston Logan is taking a different, more humane approach. (Article
here.<http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/boston-airport-takes-approach-snowy-owls-article-1.1541847>)
In case the links do not work, both articles are in the New York Daily
News.
