For nearly a week my wife and I (along with our 2 cats)

have REALLY enjoyed watching a family of 5 RTHummers visiting

our feeders!
The visits are frequent and full of action! I must add a cup of

mix every 2 or 3 days.
Mostly it's just 2 at a time with lots of buzzing and

fussing, but occasionally all 5 will come at a time.

Even though there are 4 perches, there has never been more

than 2 perched at a time, always on opposite ends.

There has been little "real" aggression, but a lot of chasing

and "dancing".

It is not uncommon for the adult female to come and check

us out at the window, which is about 5 feet from the feeder,

She will literally fly a few inches from the window and it appears

she is looking in at us...
