Today, a bobolink was spotted sitting on a sign near our bridle trail
staging area in the main park (9801 Hyland-Croy Rd, Plain City). It was not
singing, but flew to our large expanse of cool-season grassland. This area
is typically host to at least 6 pair of bobolinks every year. The grassland
can be reached from walking the Marsh Hawk trail. Bobolinks typically can
also be seen in the grassland near the Wind and Solar Learning Center
parking lot.
Directions to Glacier Ridge can be found on www.metroparks.net.
