  Blendon Woods Metro Park is located in the northeast corner of Columbus
off of Rte 161 and I 270. Take the Little Turtle Way exit

   Below is a list of some of the birds seen June 11th ( Sun)

     Lake Trail
       Acadian Flycatcher-2
       E Wood Peewee-2
       E Towhee-male
       E Bluebird-pair
       Rose-breasted Grosbeak

   Thoreau Lake
       Olive-sided Flycatcher-singing
       Wood Duck-female with 3 Ducklings
       Mallard-3 males, female with 3 Ducklings
       E Phoebe-2 adults and 1 young
       Barn Swallow
       Green Heron
       Great Blue Heron
       Great Egret
       Yellow Warbler
       Indigo Bunting

   Nature Center
       Turkeys-8 males
       Chimney Swifts

   Brookside Trail
      Scarlet Tanager
      Hooded Warbler-2
      Yellow-throated Warbler
      Yellow-throated Vireo
      Red-eyed Vireo
      Ruby-throated Humingbird
      Bird nests
         N Cardinal
         Wood Thrush

  Overlook Trail
      Red-eyed Vireo
      Yellow-throated Warbler
      Carolina Wren
