Today I went on the five rivers metropark walk this am at the great Miami wetlands mitigation bank. The place was hopping and chattering with wrens all over the place. We had 4 out of 5 species of wrens ( Carolina, house, sedge and a new one for the park 2 marsh). Also of note were 2 sora and a flock of 50-60 boblinks. On the way home I stopped at Englewood metropark and saw the short billed dowitcher that's been hanging around the past couple of days a stilt sa. and a few L yellowlegs. I was informed that about 30 min before I got there a few bald eagles and peregrine falcon decided to fly by and scare all but 10 shorebirds away.
