I finally got the chance to get away and see the Harris Sparrow late this am, which has been posted several times over the past few months at the residence of Mr. Eli D. Miller at 3395 Township Rd. 406 in Holmes County in the Walnut Creek area.I was also greeted, as I arrived by one of the sons, named Marvin, who promptly handed me the sign in guest book and I was #393.The Harris Sparrow was in some brush by their creek with a flock of White-crowned Sparrows.The Millers are a very lovely Amish family and Marvin was extremely helpful and enthusiastic about helping spot the sparrow.
