Very quiet today, but some highlights included:
Savannah Sparrow- 1 - by the west creek
Fox Sparrow- 2- with the Savannah
There was a Hairy W.P on the ground pecking a thorn bush ( odd behavior)
In the front meadow, there are MANY Ring Neck Pheasant tracks in the snow.
No sighting tho.
Odd Whinny call was heard, around the same pitch as a Screech owl, but
during day AND not quite the call they make
Unidentified bird! - by the west creek,there was a kestrel sized bird,
about 40 feet in the air, was just a bullet. Wings were tucked, just
diving. This was like a dove landing, but was a bit bigger. As it got more
pasted, the face seemed flatter and flatter. I have no idea what this could
be
