After almost a week out of the field (broke my eyeglasses and had a wisdom
tooth removed) I managed to get out to monitor my nest box trail. This
afternoon Linda joined me and we checked out Old Sunbury Road. The females have
paired with the territorial males and nest construction is well under way. Twelve
males and seven females were observed today along this section of the nest
box trail.

Other interesting species observed during the afternoon walk included Indigo
Buntings, Baltimore Orioles, Warbling Vireos, Yellow Warblers and
Yellow-billed Cuckoos.
