Sunday, August 16 - 9:30 - 11 a.m.

The mudflats are getting very dry; and, except for killdeer, the counts on
individual birds is somewhat down.  Thanks to Rick Asamoto for doing the
counts.

Lost soul with cup of 'coffee'??, walking across mudflats while talking on
cell phone causing the birds to flush.
Green-winged teal - 3
Solitary sp - 21
Lesser yellowlegs - 2
Least sp - 8
Spotted sp - 5
Pectoral sp - 12
Semipalmated plover - 2
Killdeer - 501
Great egret - 3
Wood ducks - 15
Chimney swift - 10
Tree swallows - 3
Barn swallows - 5
Belted kingfisher - 4

Good day for raptors:
    Osprey - 1
    Cooper's hawk - 2
    Red-tailed hawk - 2
    Sharp-shinned hawk - 1
