Reply To: | [log in to unmask][log in to unmask], 9 Dec 2017 18:46:53 -0500337_utf-8 This Saturday we found only one short eared owl at the rehoboth reclaimation area in Perry County which we call the “Perry County Wilds”. It was 28 degrees, windy and snowing, not the best conditions for birding. None the less, there was at least one owl. Joe Faulkner Somerset, Ohio Perry county Sent from [log in to unmask] |

The Snowy Owl continues to be easily seen at the Orris Wengerd residence at 4287 CR207, Millersburg. The Wengerds thank the birding community for the politeness & respect that has been shown during this time both to the property/ signs & the bird & look forward to having more people stop in to see it. They ask to have no visitors on Sunday, Dec. 10 before 1:00 P.M. then it is open again after that.
Bird on!

The Snowy Owl has been more reliable the last two days hanging around between 4117 CR207 & 4287 CR207. It was seen hunting successfully from both places tonight at dusk. Birders are welcome at both locations.

There is a Snowy Owl between Berlin & Winesburg close to the intersection of TR652 & US62 now. It was first visible this morning from Four Corners Furniture (and found by their employees) along TR652 then moved a little and was visible from US62 just south of the intersection a little bit ago. It is on the west side of TR652.
Good luck,
Eli Miller
