Julie Karlson and I were birding in southeastern Ohio on Sunday, November 20
when we stopped at a trail on the north edge of New Matamoras. We walked up
the trail a couple hundred yards and stopped at a high point in the trail.
Then I heard a sound that I didn't recognize right away. Julie and I both
looked up and saw two ravens fly by and one of them called as they went by.
They were flying east which would have taken them into West Virginia.
