Yesterday at around noon I went to the Edgewater Marina/boat ramp to see the two red-throated loons that have been reported there the past few days. One of the birds was diving very close to the docks. A horned grebe was diving in between the docks at one point.

There were also two common loons in the marina at E 55th street along with at least 30 horned grebes, some ring-necked ducks and one male northern shovler. I also saw a few Bonaparte's gulls on the docks.
