Hello,

Amongst the thousands I saw one adult Bonaparte's Gull with summer
plumage (11.29.06) from the hot water outlet at E. 72nd St. How
unusual is it for them to retain the black head this late?

Speaking of American Kestrels...saw one today at Gordon Park with
something furry looking in it's mouth. I was driving so a quick look
was all.

No sign of the Black-Legged Kittiwake at E. 72nd St. either today or
yesterday. There were two Columbus birders who said they had been
there from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. without seeing it. Also stopped by to
look for the Ross' Goose 3 days ago with no luck.

Good Birding,

Hans Clebsch
