Mary C. joined me for a quick scan. The quarry area has a lot of water.
The river itself was the most productive today. Sand bars exposed.
No new shorebirds or rare herons here.
Great Egrets and Great Blue Herons, Cliff Swallows at the bridge. I assume
they nested there. A lone Green Heron out on a river sand bar was fun to
watch as it fed!
Just Killdeer for shorebirds.
Sunday Ellis Lake again.
Good birding all.
