Which is Franklin County I believe. Check ebird. McKinley Quarry.
Andrew fixed his car in time and joined me! We had instructions on where to look.
On nest basically! And left hand side of the nesting island. From where we stood.
Didn't take Andrew long to find for us!
I don't have experience with Ohio. Slowly learning....! It never occured to me that
a Neotropic would be nesting!?! Wow! I have in NJ - my old home state. but not
nesting!
Am told - and I probably have some of this wrong.... - that Ohio State University
PhD students found originally. Someone doing a paper on that island?? Great!
foy Phoebe at Spring Valley - Warren.
Nature notes - foy Green Darners. Spring Valley. Cabbage Whites all over.
Good birding all. Am late for a Zoom meeting.
