At 4:50 this afternoon(Wednesday, December 16) I saw
25 sandhill cranes(in groups of 13, 7, 3, and 2)make a graceful
landing on the mud flats while I was at the boat launch area in
Deer Creek State Park. They flew in from the northwest.
