A few weeks agp, my office relocated to an 8-floor building overlooking the West Creek confluence in Independence, Cuyahoga Co., where it meets the Cuyahoga River. I have a window on the 7th floor.
I just went out on a little walk during my lunch break and got 17 sp, including Killdeer, Turkey Vultures, Black Duck, Northern Mockingbird, and Red-winged Blackbird. Song Sparrows are singing. It's currently 70°!
Last week there were 3 Bald Eagles in the air at one time.
I'm actually "trying" to get work done, too...

Not to say there haven't been earlier birds or calls but I  heard my
first just now.

I also heard something last night in the dark taking out the trash that
sounded like a

killdeer or shorebird.
