There was an AMERICAN AVOCET on the south beach of East Fork State Park in Clermont County Friday evening, 9/11/15. Donald Morse texted me about this bird at 5:45pm. It was still there at 8pm when he left.

The bird is hanging with the resident Ring-billed Gulls. It was flushed multiple times, along with the gulls, by a Merlin, a Peregrine Falcon, a couple of Bald Eagles, and a guy on a quad runner, but came back to the beach every time.

Access to the south beach is off SR 125 between Amelia and Bethel, then follow the signs.
