I actually started on the Great Miami in Butler county. Butler has a lot of
Public accessible areas to scan the river. And surrounding areas. Montgomery
Does too! I am still learning Hamilton County spots. Anyway, the river is still
High. Not many ducks or gulls. I am thinking the birds can’t feed well if
The river is too high? I don’t know. Thoughts welcome. I love this river corridor.
I look forward to exploring more when I can this year.

Red Crossbills for Feb. would be great! Not today alas. I haven’t heard any
Recent reports of them here. I did have one Rusty Black bird here. Missed
That for the Jan. 100! And a brown creeper. I usually regularly find this species
If I scan in appropriate habitat. Last year was not the norm!

I am not running a Feb. 100…… the monthly lists I keep are for life in an area.
Ebird helps nicely here. Listing my monthly birds.

In fact, I won’t be out and about much in Ohio this month. Travel plans.
I leave Monday to head back to nj. That special bird is still there!

🍀🍀 Tues will be the day.

Good birding all.
