Hi,

Purple Finches are on territory in the Arborvitae collection at the Holden
Arboretum in Kirtland. Really fun to see males doing display flight and
fussing and fighting over territory.

Corning Lake had a lingering Common Loon, Horned and Pied-billed Grebes, as
well as Red-head, Bufflehead, and Mallard Ducks.

The Ponderosa Pines near Blueberry Pond have Pine Warblers on territory.

The canopy walk and tower are not open daily at Holden. Gates open to non
members at 9 daily.

Haans
