The Bobolink RBA reported that the Wheatear was again present on Monday at the site near Berlin in Holmes County. It seems to be getting even more used to having birders arouund. The Bobolink RBA number is 330-763-5119. It should be updated again on Wednesday. This service is run by Robert Hershberger, owner of Time and Optics, located several miles from the Wheatear site.
 
Several people asked me what they could do to thank the Yoders for their genuine warm hospitality. I know Emery quite well and my guess is that he and his family would most treasure thank you cards or letters. Cash and birdseed are fine but the cards can be kept and looked at for years.
