Heard while weeding. Foy. Next up was the Miller preserve in Highland county.
I was there for the Large flowered Trillium display. And it was good! Took awhile,
I was around that fast moving stream a lot - and a L. Waterthrush cooperated!
Someday I’ll get one in Butler!
Not too much else bird wise. Stopped at the old stone gravel pits to break up
The drive home. Still a lot of waterfowl for April! Including a RB Merg. Meadowlarks
Were putting on a show - singing and displaying. No Bobwhite.
Good birding all. I have a few hours tues morning for butler. Hmmmm…..
Do I try for migrants or another spot for waterthrush? I think the latter.
