Have been on vacation and it's too rainy this morning to check out the
boardwalk. But I bet if you get down there this weekend, when the
weather looks drier, you should find some migrants!

Wanted to remind all of you of 4 birder walks and breakfasts that are
happening next weekend. You can just do the breakfasts if you want to
bird on your own or you can go on the guided walk.

Also a special evening performance by Foster Brown at the Cedar Point
Center at BGSU in Huron on Sept. 23 from 6-9 pm. This will include
food, exhibits, and a silent auction.

Pre-registration for these events closes today, so please consider
sending in your reservation today. We will accept pre-registrations
if they are postmarked today. You can also pay at the door for the
Saturday evening event.

Saturday Sept. 22 in Erie County at Osborn Park 8 am Bird Walk 9
am Birders Breakfast

Saturday Sept. 22 in Ottawa county at Ottawa NWR Bird Walks at 8 and
11 am Birders Breakfast at 9 am

Sunday Sept. 23 in Erie County at Old Woman Creek 10 am Birders Brunch
(they are doing a canoe trip before breakfast)

Sunday Sept. 23 at Magee Marsh Bird Center, 8 am Bird Walk 9 am
Breakfast

There are a lot of other opportunities for birders on both days. Check
out the full schedule and register at www.LakeErieWingWatch.com
