The warmer weather and southwest winds brought in some beautiful birds
today!!

How about a Scarlet tanager to start the day? Yellow rumps and palm
warblers are everywhere you look. Lots of RC Kinglets and Blue Gray
Gnatcatchers.
The Blue-winged warbler and KY warbler thrilled a lot of folks too.
Then there were the Pine, Nashville, Black and White, and Ovenbirds.
Woodcocks are treating folks to a look, the terns are back and the
swallows (tree, barn, and Purple Martins: are all busy building their
nests.

It's so nice that it is NOT RAINING today (only a few sprinkles)

Our new eagle nest has at least one young . We finally saw a head pop
up on Saturday.
This weekend starts our coffee and donuts..............stop in the Bird
Center.
Let the birding begin!
