On 9/24: in Mahoning Co. - the AM. WHITE PELICAN remains at Meander Res.  It was hanging out with double-crested cormorants north of the I-80 bridge.  At West Branch SP in Portage Co. (SR 14/Knapp Rd.): 2 double-crested cormorants, 7 great blue herons, 2 semipalmated plovers, killdeers, semipalmated sandpiper, 3 least sandpipers, belted kingfisher, and e. bluebird.  At Berlin Res. (Stark Co. portion): 20 double-crested cormorants, 27 great blue herons, 6 great egrets, ad. bald eagle, 15 killdeer, and 650 ring-billed gulls.  There were a few chimney swifts at Berlin Res. and also in Kent (Portage Co.).  On 9/25:  in Mahoning Co. - I found the following around Lowellville.....12 wild turkeys, Cooper's hawk, black-billed cuckoo, 5 n. flickers, e. phoebe, yellow-throated vireo, Carolina wren, Am. robins, gray catbird, black-and-white warbler, 2 Tennessee warblers, c. yellowthroat, hooded warbler, black-throated green warbler, e. towhee, and chipping
