I took a walk through Sheldon's Marsh at midday. There was little songbird activity. Still a few juncos around. New birds included White-crowned Sparrows, Fox Sparrows, Rufous-sided Towhee, and Yellow-rumped Warblers. In addition to Canada Geese, Double-crested Cormorants, and Mallards, waterbirds included Blue-winged Teal, Green-winged Teal, Northern Shoveler, Ruddy Duck, and Gadwall. Over the weekend, I also saw American Wigeon, Pintails Great Egrets, and Great-blue Herons.
