Thanks to Ned Keller, Bill Heck, and Mark Boardman for working together to
implement such a seamless transition of this listserve to the new server.
Thanks, too, to Greg Miller who has done an outstanding job of overseeing
the listserve behind the scenes.

We really appreciate the invaluable contribution of Miami University in
stepping forth and agreeing to host this listserve. It has proven to be a
very beneficial service to Ohio's birders, and is one of the largest such
listserves in the country. It was also becoming a very expensive one on the
old server, due to the volume of posts.

A note of thanks is in order to Vic Fazio, too; he is the one that started
the Ohio Birds listserve over ten years ago, and is really the reason that
we have it today.

I am going sparrow hunting tomorrow, and hope to be able to use our "new"
listserve to report Le Conte's Sparrow! Thanks again to everyone involved
with this transition!
