A decent size flock of about 500 Red-winged Blackbirds and Common Grackles
landed in the trees near my home late this afternoon. They were calling
like crazy. The sound was almost deafening. Other songbirds have been
singing for about two weeks here [Champion Twp., Trumbull County].

Late post: on Monday of this week, two Turkey Vultures flew over my car
while I was stopped at a light in Austintown [Mahoning County]. FOY for me.

Judy
