I had a brief flurry of activity at Garfield Park this morning from 10-11. It was a very large mixed flock of warblers, vireos, flycatchers, tanagers and chickadees.
Many Philadelphia vireos and black and white warblers.
Tn, Nashville, magnolia, blackpoll, bay breasted, redstarts, blackburnian and Connecticut. I called the latter a mourning but was corrected by Victor Fazio.
There were several least flycatchers, phoebes and other unknown flycatchers.
Red-eyed vireo, scarlet tanagers and chickadees were thrown into the feeding frenzy! Wonderful morning! Definitely happy with Connecticut!
