Saturday, August 2 - 8:30-10 a.m.

The shorebirds can be seen on the mudflats at the north end of the lake  on
both sides of the path that leads to the Stillwater  River.  They can also
be seen (if you have a good scope) from the low  parking area that looks
over the lake at the north end.

Lesser yellowlegs - 2
Spotted sandpipers - 2
Solitary sandpipers - 2
Forster's terns - 2
Great egrets - 8
Green-backed herons - 2
Killdeers
Wood ducks
Mallards
Canada geese
Barn and tree swallows
Bald eagles - 2
Eastern phoebes - several and one feeding a young cowbird
Indigo buntings
House wrens
Chipping sparrows

North Park:

Cedar waxwings
Forster's tern
Willow flycatcher
Indigo buntings
Green-backed herons
