Battelle Darby MP is loaded with Wilson's Snipe today, with most flushed from the recently burned area of the Teal Trail. The most seen at once was about 35, then counting became difficult as they were flushing everywhere, flying and re-landing. I am guessing there are well over 100 birds in just the burned area. There were also a dozen or so in the fields to the right and left of the pull-in for the air strip, in the puddles right by the road. Those did not flush even when I walked to within 12 feet, allowing close observation of feeding, walking, pumping, and their amazing ability to hide in plain view.  There was also a decent variety of waterfowl including Blue-winged Teal seen in the field across the road from the airstrip. A Bald Eagle flew low over the wetland and pond, leaving no doubt about the number of ducks in there.
