I enjoyed a nice sunny hike in the wetlands and restored prairie at Slate Run this afternoon. Not very birdy, but did find a 10 hooded mergansers amongst all the Canada geese as well as a kingfisher. After watching a red tail patrolling the prairie, I spotted a pair of Bald Eagles flying due south. I’ve never seen them at that park before.
