Have to be happy with just birding back yard today
as had a 1st Communion for grandson & party later

but my off & on birding has been interesting

I have my first RED HEADED WOODPECKER for my Broadview Heights Yard (year 3)

Since about 1 o'clock it has gone back & forth from the sunflower feeder to tree to eat. Behind our property we have suitable habitat--but this is the first I have seen or heard one here.

So I have Grosbeaks eating suet & woodpecker eating sunflower seeds.

Cheri
