Was going to hit Lake Isabella here in Hamilton county late afternoon dusk.

Know what’s there! I was going to check it out. Got the text from Marianne
She found a greater white fronted at Joyce park - Butler. So I switched gears.
That’s a great spot for the more unusual geese. We had snow and Cackling
There last year.
On the way home, I stopped at this Black Vulture roost. It’s on Nile’s rd. In
Fairfield. 37. If I could have stayed even another 15 minutes I am sure more
Would have come in. But I wanted to beat the traffic! Up to 40 for my SW
Ohio January run. 2 less than what ebird says for the state. Merlin and the grebe
In Montgomery don’t count for the January 100! That I am doing. Hopefully
Ebird will add a personal area that each birder can set up. It would be so much
Easier! I keep an excel chart now.
Good birding all. Felt downright balmy down here when the sun emerged!
