While fishing along the Great Miami River just south of the City of
Franklin observed the following birds:



Canada Goose

Mallard

Wood Duck

Great Blue Heron

Osprey

Killdeer

Spotted Sandpiper

Mourning Dove

Common Nighthawk (flew down river and then came back a few minutes later
assuming it was the same bird)

Chimney Swift

Ruby-throated Hummingbird (picking spiders from webs and flying back to
the same tree. I couldn't find the nest)

Red-bellied Woodpecker

Downy Woodpecker

Eastern Kingbird

Eastern Wood Peewee

Blue Jay

Northern Rough-winged Swallow

Carolina Chickadee

Carolina Wren

Robin

Cedar Waxwing

Warble (?sp)

Cardinal

Common Grackle

House Sparrow
