I stopped by several parks along the west margin of Dublin, a NW Columbus suburb, looking for early 'migrants'. I stopped at Glacier Ridge Metropark and wetlands, along with nearby Trabue Preserve and Darree Fields. The fog kept raptors under wraps, but the mild temperatures had lots of other avian residents active, including drumming woodpeckers, calling chickadees, and singing titmice. More unusual were:

Waterfowl- Corazon Lake had 60 Redhead, along with a few Ring-necks & Canvasback, while the nearby Honda wetland had Mallards, Black Ducks, and a few N.Shovelers

Killdeer - widespread in fields; the Honda wetland had 3-4
woodpeckers - lots of residents; also had a Pileated at the north woods of Glacier Ridge
E.Phoebe - 1 was foraging around the pond at Trabue Preserve
Horned Larks - overflying birds at many different locations
Mockingbird - 1 was stranded out a Darree Fields, a location where they are very rare
Sparrows - surprisingly few, with Song Sparrows the most abundant
Blackbirds - Redwings at many locations; the Honda Wetlands had 8+
