This morning, when we arrived at the Methodist Church in Brecksville at 9am, two Black Vultures and several Turkey Vultures were sitting on the chimney, as seen from the church parking lot. They flew off about 9:45. Yesterday, when one of us was there, a Black Vulture flew to the chimney from the south west at 9:15am and was there when we left 15 minutes later. Both mornings were cold but sunny. TVs seem to be roosting in evergreens west of the elementary school. It appears that the cold weather has not encouraged them to depart for warmer climes.
