The Columbus Audubon chapter is delighted to welcome our own Columbus Zoo's
CEO, Tom Stalf and zoo guests, to our Tuesday, March 25 evening program.
Tom program is about What's New at the Zoo!



We hope you will join us for a special evening.  During our short program,
you will hear 8th grader Emma Bennett a TEDxYouth Poetry Winner,
passionately discuss humanity's effect on the environment and endangered
animals.

March 25, 2014: "What's New at the Zoo?" - Tom Stalf,  President and CEO of
the Columbus Zoo



Please join us on Tuesday, March 25 as Tom Stalf, President and CEO of the
Columbus Zoo tells us  What's New at the Zoo!

You will meet some special guests that Tom and zoo animal handlers will
bring along: live animal friends from the Zoo.



Make an evening of it! Before Tom's presentation, join us at 6:00 pm for
Columbus Audubon's annual Member's Dinner (

registration required). If you cannot join us for dinner, you still are
welcome to attend the program.



Here's the schedule for the night:

6:00 - 6:50 pm: Columbus Audubon annual dinner (pre-register by Sunday March
23 with Julie Davis ([log in to unmask])

7:00 - 7:15 pm: CA Short Program: Emma Bennett, 8th grader and a TEDxYouth
Poetry winner, will discuss endangered animals and humanity's effect on the
environment from her perspective as a young student.

Columbus Audubon programs are free and open to the public. All programs are
held at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center 505 West Whittier Street in the
Scioto-Audubon Metro Park on the Whittier Peninsula.

Resources" - Jim McCormac, Ohio Division of Wildlife Avian Education

Short program: "Unconventional Conservation: Highways as Habitat for the
American Kestrel" - Amanda Duren, Program Coordinator for Ohio Bird
Conservation Initiative.
