Hi all,

As usual‹even more thatn in most years, after reading all the reports from
Ohio‹one of the few things I regret about being in Colombia at this time of
year is missing the shorebrid migration.

But I¹m happy to report, from so far away, that last Wednesday, as I left
the comfort and the internet connection of Quibdó for a few days up to
Andágueda River, here in the Colombian Pacific rain forest, I saw my first
two Spotted Sandpipers of this visit. I don¹t know that they came from Ohio,
but it¹s possible...

I know this report is from a little far afield, but with all the enthusiasm
about this year¹s migration, I thought it might not be amiss.

Best wishes to all‹see you at OOS...

Steve Cagan
Quibdó, El Chocó, Colombia (for the time being)
