*MAY 06, 2018 - OTTAWA NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE MONTHLY CENSUS.*
*ROUTES*: Usual morning & afternoon routes (east and west sides in the
morning - back side in the afternoon), except where closed for eagle
nesting. Also a stop at the Ottawa NWR Boss Unit.
*TIME*: 8:00am - 12:30pm; 2:00pm - 7:40pm  *TEMP.*: 52 ~ 77 ~ 66  *COND.*:
Sunny and clear early, warming throughout the day; west winds at 5mph;
around 3:15pm a coldfront moved in from the west, turning cloudy, then dark
with lightning, winds W/NW at 10-15mph, and a thunderstorm, lasting until
about 4:30pm; much cooler and cloudy after that.  *OBS. EAST*: Ed Pierce,
Jim Reyda, Al & Betty Schlecht.  *OBS. WEST*: Jennifer Kuehn, Donna Kuhn,
Dave & Kim Myles, Tony Szilagye, Douglas W. Vogus.  *OBS. AFTERNOON*: Bob
Bartolotta, Ed Pierce, Jim Reyda, Douglas W. Vogus.

*I. MAMMALS*: 5 SPECIES.
